In Kris’ civil practice, he has represented individuals in jury trials who have been injured by the acts of others as well as individuals who had their property taken from them by the government. He has secured over sixteen million dollars in compensation for his clients through negotiated settlements and jury verdicts. Kris also has significant experience in trying criminal cases involving DNA, which gives him a unique insight on the holes that prosecutors may have in cases that others believe are open and shut. Kris’ experience in practicing throughout Central and South Central Indiana allows him to provide his clients with realistic and practice legal advice.
Kris served as Martinsville City Councilman from 2016 to 2021, where he represented citizens city wide and advocated for the growth and development of the City of Martinsville. Kris doggedly pursued allegations of wasteful spending and served as a watchdog for tax payer’s dollars, showing he has no fear of holding city hall accountable. Kris was also a member of the City of Martinsville Board of Public Works.
Kris studied History at Indiana University before law school and still enjoys studying United States and Ancient Roman history. Kris’ favorite area of research in his legal practice is the psychology of jury selection. Outside the office, Kris enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time with his family.
