We are extremely proud of the results Partners, Kris Fuller and John Boren were able to obtain for our clients in a recent jury trial. A local family had a portion of their property taken for the I-69 project by the State through eminent domain. The State’s initial offer for the property was $244,380.00. The family whose property was being taken only wanted what was fair, just compensation for the land being taken. Mr. Fuller was lead counsel on the case and was assisted by Mr. Boren as his co-counsel. The evidence presented by Mr. Fuller at the jury trial showed that just compensation owed to the family was $1,970,000.00. The jury deliberated for less than half an hour and came back with a verdict of $1,970,000.00. The total amount awarded to the family with damages, interest, and costs was $2,361,873.20. The Family brought Mr. Fuller a trophy for \”Pitching the Perfect Game.\” Our Firm was thrilled to get our clients such a great result.
