Stephen A. Oliver

Stephen A. Oliver is a founding partner in the firm of Boren, Oliver & Coffey, LLP. Steve began his career in the Morgan County Prosecutors office in 1978, prosecuted many major felonies, including the prosecution of the notorious Stephen Judy murder trial. Steve became the Chief Deputy Prosecutor prior to leaving to join John Boren in private practice in 1981.

Steve served as co-chair of the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Foundation’s Trial Skills Seminar for seventeen years, from the program’s inception in 1997 through 2014. Steve has been designated as a “Super Lawyer since 2007 and as one of the Best Lawyers in Indiana in the area of personal injury. His practice is focused on assisting clients in seeking recovery for serious injury from those responsible for their loss. Steve has successfully represented the injured in their recovery against some of the largest companies in America, including Textron, Siemens, Wal-Mart and Stanley Bostitch. Steve also serves as a mediator helping other attorneys seek resolution of their client’s disputes.”

Steve is a Cantor and choir member at St. Martin of Tours Parish and a member of the Morgan County Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and has been a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (Director, Emeritus 1992-present), is a past president of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Foundation, a member of the American Association of Justice (1984-present), a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association College of Fellows, Life Fellow, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
