Associate Attorney at Law

Ricki was born and raised in Martinsville, Indiana as were many generations of her family. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington and Indiana University McKinney School of Law. While in law school, Ricki competed in the McKinney Law Barrister’s Moot Court Tournament, placing runner-up, and becoming a member of the Order of Barristers. She also worked in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic, helping individuals who unjustly had their freedom taken and working to have their convictions overturned. Ricki has a strong interest in national security and served as an NGO in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba ensuring criminal trials for suspected terrorists are operating effectively.

Ricki graduated from law school with a Certificate in Criminal Law and began her career at the Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office. Ricki handled all domestic violence cases within Morgan County and has received hours of training in working with victims of domestic violence and their families. Ricki works closely with Desert Rose to assist victims as they move forward. While the domestic violence prosecutor, Ricki tried numerous jury and bench trials leading to the convictions of many defendants. In 2024, Ricki was elected as the Morgan County Bar Association President by her peers.

At Boren, Oliver, and Coffey, LLP, Ricki focuses her practice on Family Law. She is equipped to handle all divorce, protective order, child custody, guardianship, and adoption matters.

Prior to law school, Ricki graduated from Indiana University with a degree in psychology and worked as a Behavioral Health Technician for Centerstone. Through this, she gained experience working with people during challenging times and helping them reach the other side. She is known for her compassion and devotion to her clients as they navigate the judicial system and life changes. While many Family Law matters can be emotional and difficult for those involved, Ricki will advocate for you both in the courtroom and in life, providing you assistance and support every step of the way.

Ricki currently lives in Indianapolis, and her hobbies include spending time with her Cockapoo, gardening, and walking or biking around downtown Indy.
