Tonisha Jarrett

Tonisha is a Martinsville High School graduate who has since spent her entire professional career practicing in Morgan County. She attended Indiana University-Bloomington and Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. During her law school career, Tonisha spent time as an intern for the federal and public defender’s agency; earned a certificate in criminal law; and spent time teaching law and public policy to students at Shortridge High School.

Tonisha focuses her work primarily in family law and has been known for her compassion for victims of domestic violence. As one of the juvenile attorneys for Morgan County, she spends a lot of her time advocating for juvenile rights throughout the area. Tonisha finds her most rewarding work with adoptions and represents foster parents all over the state of Indiana.

In addition to practicing law, Tonisha is a certified family law mediator and has been trained to work as a Guardian at Litem.

Tonisha currently lives in the Bargersville area. Outside the office, She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She loves any activity outdoors and always looks forward to time spent on a nice vacation with her family.
